Fundamentals of Aromatherapy I -

Student practitioners will learn what aromatherapy is and what it isn't; along with the history and contradictions to aromatherapy and the way that plants are classified botanically which can produce different oils.
You will also learn the different popular carrier oils, where they originate and the properties of these oils; learn about 12 of the most popular essential oils, their characteristics and their traditional uses. We will also describe from own feeling how an essential oil feels to us as both a classification on a fragrance scale and where it effects them on the body, just by smell. Student practitioners will learn the basics about how to blend their own custom blends and how to incorporate essential oils into treatments.
